Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of One Million Dollar Pixels and every block you buy on it. By buying a block or signing in, you agree to them.

Last updated 11 September 2026. Questions: support@onemilliondollarpixels.com.

1. Who you are dealing with

One Million Dollar Pixels (“the site”, “we”, “us”) is operated by the operator of onemilliondollarpixels.com. You can reach us at support@onemilliondollarpixels.com.

2. What you are buying

The site is a single image of 1,000 × 1,000 pixels. When you buy a block you buy the right to display one image and one link on a rectangle of that grid that you choose, for as long as the site operates. You pay once. There is no renewal, no subscription and no recurring charge.

A block is a licence to use space on our page. It is not property, a security, a share in the site, or an investment of any kind. It has no guaranteed resale value. Please read section 9 before relying on the resale marketplace for anything.

3. Price

Every pixel has its own one-time price, set by its distance from the centre of the grid: $100 for the pixel at the exact centre, falling to $1 at the far corners. The price of a block is the sum of the prices of the pixels in it. The exact figure is shown before you pay and is the figure you are charged. Prices are in US dollars.

We may change the price curve for blocks that have not yet been sold. A price you have already paid is never revisited.

4. Buying a block

5. Your image and link

6. What you may not put on the grid

We review every block after payment and may reject or later remove any image or link that we judge, at our sole discretion, to be:

If we reject your image at review, we refund you in full and release the block. If we remove your block later because you broke these rules after review, or because the content changed after review, no refund is owed. Our refund policy sets out the detail.

7. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your e-mail address. There is no password. Whoever can read that mailbox can act as you, so keep it secure. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for everything done through it until you do.

8. What “for life” means

Your block stays on the grid for as long as the site operates. We intend that to be a very long time, but we cannot promise that a website will exist forever. If we ever shut the grid down permanently we will make reasonable efforts to tell you by e-mail in advance. Apart from the refund window in our refund policy, no refund is owed when the site closes, and none is owed for any period in which the site is unavailable.

9. Resale marketplace

If your block is active you may list it for sale to another visitor at an asking price of your choosing, which must be at least what you originally paid. When it sells:

We pay your share to you directly, using contact details you give us at your sign-in address, after the buyer’s refund window has closed. You can cancel a listing at any time before it sells.

The marketplace is a convenience, not a promise. We do not guarantee that any block will find a buyer, or that it will sell for any particular price, or that its price will rise. We do not market blocks as an investment and you should not buy one as one. Nothing on this site is financial advice.

10. No promise of traffic

We sell space on a page. We make no representation about how many people will see your block, how many will click it, or what effect, if any, it will have on your search-engine rankings. Links on the grid are opened by script when clicked and are not presented to search engines as ordinary hyperlinks.

11. Our rights

Everything about the site other than the images visitors upload — its name, design, code and the arrangement of the grid — belongs to us. You may take and share screenshots of the grid. You may not scrape it, copy it wholesale, or interfere with its operation.

12. Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of these terms or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the block concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to compensate us for any claim by a third party that arises from your image, your link, or your breach of these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when we last did. If a change materially affects blocks already bought, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by e-mail. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

14. Contact
